Youll gain first-hand exposure to a suite performing diverse surgeries, including sports medicine, spine, hand, foot, and ankle cases, alongside highly experienced staff. Take your perioperative practice to the next level as you learn various documentation approaches and leadership methods, expanding your clinical repertoire within a 6-OR setting.
Schedule/Hours:
- 7:00 AM 5:00 PM, four 10-hour shifts
- No call, nights, weekends, or holiday shifts
Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in Orthopedic surgery required
- Demonstrated proficiency in hand, foot & ankle, sports medicine, total joint, spine, and pain procedures
- Comfort working in a high-acuity outpatient environment
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care specific to orthopedic procedures
- Collaborate with scrub techs and unit secretaries for optimal patient outcomes
- Adhere to rigorous documentation and patient safety standards
- Assist in implementing advanced technologies including robotic-assisted surgeries
- Support a patient ratio of 1:1, ensuring individual attention and effective care
