Schedule/Hours:

• Daylight shifts, rotating weekly: 5:30am2:00pm, 6:30am3:00pm, 7:30amfinish (shift covers elective and add-on cases)
• Weekend call required (2 weekends per 6-week period): 6:00am6:00pm, call only (no elective schedule, not a busy call)
• Team of 6 covers two Ortho ORs, 5 days/week
• 7:30am shift may extend past scheduled time to finish cases or add-ons; willingness to stay until the job is done is essential

Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room nursing experience, preferably in orthopedics
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Adaptability with changing schedules and procedural needs

Responsibilities:

• Provide perioperative nursing care for orthopedic surgical cases
• Collaborate with a small, supportive multidisciplinary team for patient safety and optimal outcomes
• Effectively circulate and/or scrub as needed
• Assist with elective procedures and any emergent add-on cases
• Accurately document care and communicate with patients and surgical team
