Schedule & Hours:
- Rotating weeknight call (one night per week minimum)
- 12 rotating weekend call shifts per 5-week schedule (11PM-7AM)
- No floating to other units
- Scrubs provided by the facility
Step into a collaborative environment featuring five state-of-the-art operating rooms, working directly with a tight-knit team comprising experienced RNs, surgical techs, and attentive support staff. Youll encounter a range of surgical specialties including orthopedics, general, gynecology, urology, vascular, cardiovascular, neuro, and thoracic proceduresallowing you to broaden your clinical experience and learn from a variety of leadership approaches in modern perioperative care.
Qualifications:
- Active RN license, eligible in Texas
- Minimum of one year of recent OR circulator experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Willingness to commit to rotating call and weekend shifts
- Flexible, compassionate, and adaptable mindset
- Experience in orthopedics, robotics, or other surgical subspecialties highly desirable
Responsibilities:
- Circulate on a 1:1 patient ratio for surgical procedures
- Ensure procedural integrity and patient safety in the OR setting
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary team members
- Accurately document in Meditech EMR
- Support a broad spectrum of intraoperative care
