Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Valid Indiana RN license
- Minimum of two recent years of Operating Room nursing experience
- BSN degree preferred
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to stay calm and focused in fast-paced situations
- Attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with surgical teams for safe, efficient procedures
- Monitor patient vitals and provide timely interventions
- Prepare operating rooms with proper equipment and supplies
- Assist with patient positioning and pre-operative preparation
- Administer medications and anesthesia under physician guidance
- Maintain meticulous records and documentation
