In this role, youll play a vital part in patient care throughout the surgical process. Youll collaborate closely with physicians and an interdisciplinary team, supporting patients and their families while ensuring compassionate, safe, and effective care. Schedule/Hours:
- Participate in 24-hour call coverage
Key Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Operating Room and Recovery Room nursing preferred
- Current Washington State or MultiState RN license required
- Current American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification (on hire)
- ACLS and PALS certifications
Responsibilities:
- Complete the nursing process to promote and restore patient health
- Circulate and/or scrub in the operating room; also act as a mentor and educator
- Supervise and support assigned team members
- Adhere to standards of the Nurse Practice Act, hospital, and regulatory guidelines
- Vigilantly monitor for and recognize post-anesthesia and post-operative complications
- Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work area
