Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert intraoperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
- Collaborate closely with surgical teams, including surgeons and technologists, to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
- Monitor patient status throughout procedures and respond promptly to changes
- Assist in maintaining a sterile and organized operating room environment
- Support various functions related to operating room services, excluding PACU, anesthesia, pre-op holding, and central sterile duties
- Participate in performance improvement and patient safety initiatives within the surgical services department
Qualifications:
- Current RN licensure with operating room nursing experience
- Strong knowledge of intraoperative nursing principles and aseptic techniques
- Ability to multitask in a dynamic surgical environment and work well under pressure
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
