Schedule/Hours:

  • Flexible scheduling dependent on needs of the operating room

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license required in the state of California
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of recent acute care Operating Room RN experience
  • Current BLS certification (AHA)
  • Strong assessment, clinical, and critical thinking skills in OR settings
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert intraoperative care to patients during surgical procedures
  • Ensure surgical asepsis and compliance with infection control standards
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other perioperative team members
  • Prepare, maintain, and manage operating room equipment and supplies
  • Document all aspects of care in accordance with facility policies and charting requirements
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training sessions as needed
