Step into a dynamic operating room setting, where your expertise supports a Level 1 Trauma Center committed to delivering exceptional patient care. In this contract role, you'll work mid-shift hours from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm, five days a week, ensuring a balance between challenging cases and a predictable schedule. The facility requires every team member to float within their scope, providing a varied and engaging work environment.

Schedule:

• Five 8-hour shifts per week (2:30 pm 11:00 pm)
• Every other weekend requirement (2 weekends/month)
• One 12-hour on-call shift monthly on a Saturday or Sunday
• Guaranteed 40 hours weekly

Qualifications:

• Current RN license (pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum of 2 years recent acute care experience in the operating room
• Level 1 Trauma experience required
• Proficient in both scrub and circulate roles
• Demonstrated skills in Ortho, Ortho Trauma, Vascular, Urology, and General Surgery
• BLS certification required
• Preferred exposure to Neurosurgery (cranial and spine), Open Heart/Thoracic, Ophthalmology, ENT, Bariatric, and Gynecology
• Locals preferred; must reside within 75 miles

Your Responsibilities:

• Deliver expert care in a fast-paced OR, handling a variety of complex cases
• Float as needed to support various surgical specialties throughout the facility
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Cerner
• Adhere to all clinical, professional, and facility policies including dress code (Navy Blue scrubs provided)
