Provide critical nursing care in the operating room setting, delivering safe and effective patient-centered treatment throughout your shift. This role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless, high-quality care.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document individualized patient care in the operating room.
• Ensure patient safety, timely interventions, and efficient care delivery.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members to coordinate care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and established protocols.
• Identify and address patient and family learning and discharge needs throughout episodes of care.
• Provide clinical supervision and guidance to LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel.
• Complete required education and competency testing related to patient populations, procedures, and protocols.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Registered Nurse (RN) license with valid credentials to practice in the state.
• Previous experience in operating room nursing strongly preferred.
• Ability to adapt and float between departments or local locations within a 20-mile radius as needed.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Commitment to patient-centered, equitable care practices.
