Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Active RN license, valid in California
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a high-acuity Operating Room setting
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Exceptional interpersonal and critical thinking skills
- Previous travel assignment experience (preferred, but not required)
Responsibilities:
- Provide safe and effective perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures
- Collaborate with surgical team members, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals
- Monitor patient status before, during, and after surgery
- Ensure sterile field integrity and support infection control practices
- Document procedures and patient responses accurately
- Adapt quickly to a new hospital environment and workflow
