Schedule/Hours:
- 36 or 40 hours per week (shifts: 09001830, 06001830, or 08001830 as scheduled)
- Hired shift may be flexed to meet department needs; blocked days not guaranteed
- Call rotation: Weeknights approximately every 12 weeks
- Weekend call required approximately every 45th weekend
- 30-minute response time required while on call
- Holiday rotation included
Qualifications:
- Current, unrestricted RN license
- Minimum one year of recent operating room experience
- BLS certification (additional certifications may be preferred)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced surgical environment
Responsibilities:
- Provide safe, patient-centered care in the operating room
- Collaborate with surgical and perioperative teams
- Monitor patients throughout pre-op, intra-op, and post-op phases
- Ensure adherence to all infection control and safety protocols
- Accurately document all assessments, interventions, and outcomes
