A travel opportunity is available for an RN experienced in Operating Room nursing located in Carlsbad, NM. This position involves providing circulating nursing care across various surgical specialties. The assignment lasts 13 weeks with day shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, including on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Circulate in the operating room, coordinating patient care during surgeries.
• Support surgical teams during general, orthopedic, OBGYN, podiatry, plastics, endocrine, trauma, and DaVinci robotic procedures.
• Provide care to both adult and pediatric patients in the perioperative setting.
• Respond to on-call duties as scheduled, including some weekday evenings and weekend rotations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of operating room nursing experience required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications mandatory.
• Proven experience with a broad range of surgical specialties and robotic-assisted surgeries.
• Competency in adult and pediatric perioperative care.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. 3:30 p.m., 5 shifts per week.
• On-call coverage includes one weekday per week minimum and weekend rotations.
