Responsibilities:
- Circulate and/or scrub on surgical caseshandling a wide range of procedures
- Ensure sterile technique and uphold safety standards in the operating room
- Collaborate efficiently with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and support staff
- Monitor and document patients vital signs and condition throughout procedures
- Prepare operating room and instruments, anticipating needs of the surgical team
- Advocate for patients safety and well-being during all phases of perioperative care
- Participate actively in quality improvement initiatives
Desired Qualifications:
- Current, unencumbered RN license
- Recent experience in an Operating Room (minimum 1 year strongly preferred)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required or able to obtain)
- Proven ability to work in fast-paced and high-pressure environments
- Skilled in communication, teamwork, and critical thinking
- Prior travel nursing experience is a plus
