Job Description

An exciting opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with expertise in the Operating Room to contribute to exceptional surgical care. This contract position will be based at a well-respected outpatient surgical center in Woodstock, Georgia, offering a structured 13-week assignment with weekdays from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care in the operating room, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout surgical procedures
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to prepare the operating room, manage equipment, and assist during surgeries
  • Monitor patient status and respond promptly to any changes or emergencies
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all healthcare protocols and standards

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an RN in the Operating Room setting
  • Valid AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
  • Strong clinical skills with attention to detail and patient-focused care
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment

Schedule & Location:

  • Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
  • Located at Towne Lake Outpatient Surgical Center, Woodstock, Georgia
