Schedule:
- Daylight shifts with rotating weekly schedules:
- 5:30 am 2:00 pm
- 6:30 am 3:00 pm
- 7:30 am end of elective cases/add-ons (typically finished by 4:004:30 pm; on occasion, may require working up to or beyond 2 extra hours)
- On-call weekend coverage required: 6:00 am 6:00 pm (2 weekends over a 6-week period; not a busy call schedule)
- No weekday call; the late shift must complete all elective/add-on cases
Key Qualifications:
- Current RN license
- Minimum of one year recent Operating Room nursing experience
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within small, dynamic teams
- Strong adaptability and willingness to stay past scheduled shifts if needed
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills
Responsibilities:
- Circulate and scrub in a two-room orthopedic surgery setting (including pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care)
- Coordinate with surgeons and anesthesia providers to ensure safe, efficient procedures
- Maintain vigilant sterile technique and safety protocols
- Provide compassionate patient care and thorough documentation
