Schedule/Hours:
- Travel Assignment specific schedules will be discussed during the interview process
Qualifications:
- Active RN license required (New York licensure or eligibility)
- Demonstrated experience in Operating Room nursing, including scrubbing and circulating duties
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong organizational and communication abilities
- Flexibility and adaptability in high-pressure environments
- Prior travel nursing experience is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities:
- Provide perioperative care to surgical patients, ensuring safety and a high standard of nursing practice
- Collaborate with the surgical team to facilitate smooth operations and positive patient outcomes
- Prepare operating rooms, surgical instruments, and equipment according to protocol
- Monitor patients before, during, and after surgery, identifying and addressing any urgent needs
- Maintain sterile environments and uphold infection control standards
- Document all care accurately and timely within patient records
