This contract position requires a nursing professional eager to work in a fast-paced surgical environment, following established policies, procedures, and protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow operating room standards while assisting in pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases
• Implement and monitor individualized patient care plans
• Consistently monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care for well-organized treatment and recovery
• Accurately document and carry out physician and nursing orders
• Proactively assess and assist with discharge planning, working closely with other healthcare professionals
• Use critical thinking and judgment to deliver care in urgent or stressful circumstances
• Follow all infection prevention protocols and employ personal protective equipment as required

Schedule/Hours:

• Contract position with hours to be discussed during the interview process

Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted RN license
• Proven experience in an Operating Room setting is highly preferred
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to make sound clinical decisions under pressure
• Strong collaboration capabilities with multidisciplinary teams
• Familiarity with required personal protective equipment and standard precautions
• Commitment to upholding patient safety and quality care standards
