We are seeking a skilled and dedicated RN to join a collaborative clinical team and contribute to positive patient outcomes. This contract position requires a nursing professional eager to work in a fast-paced surgical environment, following established policies, procedures, and protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow operating room standards while assisting in pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases
- Implement and monitor individualized patient care plans
- Consistently monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions
- Coordinate interdisciplinary care for well-organized treatment and recovery
- Accurately document and carry out physician and nursing orders
- Proactively assess and assist with discharge planning, working closely with other healthcare professionals
- Use critical thinking and judgment to deliver care in urgent or stressful circumstances
- Follow all infection prevention protocols and employ personal protective equipment as required
Schedule/Hours:
- Contract position with hours to be discussed during the interview process
Qualifications:
- Current and unrestricted RN license
- Proven experience in an Operating Room setting is highly preferred
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to make sound clinical decisions under pressure
- Strong collaboration capabilities with multidisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with required personal protective equipment and standard precautions
- Commitment to upholding patient safety and quality care standards
