Qualifications & Experience:

• Active, unencumbered RN license
• Previous experience in an Operating Room setting (required)
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, sterile technique, and OR protocol
• Excellent assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the perioperative team

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room by ensuring all equipment and supplies are sterile and ready for use
• Monitor patient status throughout surgical procedures and respond promptly to changes
• Administer medication and assist with anesthesia as directed
• Maintain accurate and thorough surgical documentation
• Foster a sterile environment and adhere to infection control standards
• Support surgeons and the surgical team by providing instruments and supplies as needed
• Provide compassionate care and support to patients and their families during the perioperative period
