This contract position presents an opportunity to leverage your experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room, working among accomplished surgeons and clinical staff to ensure safe and successful procedures.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Proven experience in an Operating Room setting
• Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing processes
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and composure
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Keen attention to detail and commitment to patient safety

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain a sterile operating field before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists as a critical part of the surgical team
• Assess patient needs, monitor vital signs, and ensure patient comfort and safety at every stage of the procedure
• Administer prescribed medications or anesthesia under standardized protocols
• Document all aspects of nursing assessments, interventions, and procedures per facility guidelines
• Uphold infection control standards and adapt quickly to changes in the surgical plan or patient condition
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care as needed
• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives within the surgical department

$2,001 - $2,189/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
