Step into a vital position supporting surgical teams by providing expert care as a registered nurse in the operating room. This contract opportunity places you at the forefront of patient safety, collaborating with surgeons and medical professionals to deliver exceptional outcomes from pre-op to post-op phases.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Previous experience in the operating room or perioperative services
• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
• Familiarity with sterile techniques and surgical instrumentation
• Demonstrated ability to remain focused in high-pressure environments
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms and ensure necessary equipment is sterile and organized
• Collaborate with the surgical team on patient assessments, positioning, and documentation
• Monitor patients vital signs and respond to changes during procedures
• Enforce all safety protocols, supporting strict infection control standards
• Circulate and/or scrub as needed throughout the surgery
• Advocate for patient needs and provide emotional support as required
• Maintain accurate, timely records of surgical procedures and patient progress
