Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Active and unencumbered RN license
- Minimum of 1 year experience in an Operating Room setting
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Familiarity with various surgical procedures and patient safety protocols
- Flexibility to work with dynamic surgical teams and fluctuating caseloads
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Provide comprehensive perioperative care, including pre-op, intra-op, and post-op responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms and ensure sterile environments
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other OR team members for optimal patient outcomes
- Monitor, assess, and document patient condition throughout procedures
- Uphold infection control standards and quality improvement initiatives
- Educate and advocate for patients and their families
