This travel role for a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room is a chance to elevate your professional journey. Key Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in good standing
- At least 1-2 years of recent experience in an Operating Room nursing role
- BLS and ACLS certifications are required
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, sterile technique, and OR protocols
- Exceptional critical thinking, communication, and teamwork abilities
- Adaptability and desire to learn within dynamic clinical environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive perioperative nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures
- Scrub and circulate, ensuring adherence to best practices and strict sterility standards
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other team members to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and respond promptly to emergent situations
