Deliver advanced patient care and surgical assistance as an experienced Registered Nurse with a focus on Operating Room responsibilities. This contract role provides an opportunity to demonstrate your expertise within a dynamic surgical environment, collaborating closely with skilled surgeons and multidisciplinary teams to ensure outstanding patient outcomes.

Key Qualifications:

• Current, unrestricted RN license
• Demonstrated experience in an operating room setting
• BLS and ACLS certifications (additional surgical nursing credentials highly valued)
• Proficient knowledge of perioperative procedures, surgical instruments, and sterile techniques
• Ability to act efficiently and calmly in fast-paced or high-pressure scenarios
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe, compliant surgical environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms and ensure all equipment and supplies are ready prior to procedures
• Circulate and/or scrub in a variety of surgical specialties
• Monitor and document patient status and surgical activities throughout procedures
• Collaborate with surgical, anesthesia, and support staff to maintain optimal patient safety and care
• Uphold strict infection control and patient confidentiality standards
• Provide patient education and postoperative instructions as needed
• Support quality improvement initiatives and ongoing staff training
