Schedule / Hours:

  • 4x10 hour EVENING shifts: 11:00am 9:30pm (rotating days off based on unit needs)
  • Potential weekend shifts
  • Call: Approximately one weeknight per week and one weekend shift monthly

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license and current BLS certification
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as an OR RN
  • Proven Level I Trauma Center experience
  • Neuro surgical expertise (ALIF, Anterior cervical fusion, Craniotomy, Kyphoplasty, Laminectomy/discectomy, Lumbar fusion, XLIF)
  • Proficiency with the Da Vinci Xi Surgical System
  • Flexible and adaptable to rotating schedules and call requirements
  • Welcoming first-time travel nurses eager to learn

Responsibilities:

  • Circulate and scrub for a variety of neuro and complex surgical cases
  • Safely operate and assist with robotic surgery (Da Vinci Xi)
  • Collaborate with surgeons and clinical teams in high-stakes environments
  • Respond to emergencies with composure and swift action
  • Adapt flexibly to coverage needs and make up for RTO as required
