Job Description
A critical role awaits a registered nurse with specialized operating room experience in Billings, MT. This travel opportunity calls for a dedicated RN skilled in neuro and trauma care to provide expert surgical support in a Level I Trauma Center environment.
Schedule and Hours:
- 4x10 evening shifts, 1100 - 2130
- Rotating days off to meet unit needs
- Weekend shifts as scheduled
- Call requirements: approximately one weeknight and one weekend shift per month
- Flexible return-to-office requests with time make-up
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing neuro and robotic-assisted surgeries
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and procedure efficiency
- Maintain compliance with surgical protocols and trauma center standards
Required Qualifications:
- Current RN license with at least 3 years of operating room experience
- Level I Trauma Center experience is mandatory
- Proficiency primarily in neuro OR procedures such as ALIF, anterior cervical fusion, craniotomy, kyphoplasty, laminectomy/discectomy, lumbar fusion, and XLIF
- Hands-on experience with the Da Vinci Xi Surgical System (robotics) is a strict requirement
- BLS certification
