As a Registered Nurse specializing in the operating room, youll play a pivotal role assisting in surgeries that range from robotic procedures to advanced neuro cases. This assignment offers the opportunity to work alongside skilled surgical teams, gaining exposure to innovative techniques and various leadership styles within the OR setting. By working in a new region, youll expand your professional repertoire, enhancing both your resume and your adaptability as a healthcare provider.
Schedule:
- Shifts: 2:30 PM 11:00 PM
- No weekends or holidays
Key Responsibilities:
- Circulate in operating room procedures, ensuring sterile technique and patient safety
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists
- Demonstrate strong clinical judgment and communication skills throughout intraoperative phases
- Maintain compliance with facility protocols and best practices in perioperative care
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license
- Minimum 2 years recent operating room experience
- Demonstrated expertise in robotics and neuro surgery cases
- Circulating experience required (scrubbing not necessary)
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Excellent teamwork and critical thinking skills
