Schedule/Hours:

• 6:30am to 5:00pm shifts
• 4x10 hour shifts per week (days vary depending on department needs)
• On-call: One weekday call per week and one call weekend per month
• Candidates must reside at least 100 miles away

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse license (state/district required)
• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program
• BSN degree is highly preferred
• Minimum two years recent experience in the operating room across various specialties
• Current PALS, BLS, and ACLS certifications (all required)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform both scrubbing and circulating duties for operative procedures
• Manage patient admissions to the operative suite as required
• Adhere strictly to aseptic techniques and accepted standards
• Collaborate with the surgical team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate intraoperative patient care
• Serve as a communication liaison for patients, families, and surgical team members
• Set up and prepare the operating room prior to surgical procedures
• Assemble all necessary equipment and supplies; verify functionality and availability of required items
• Maintain patient safety and support quality outcomes throughout each surgical case
