As a valued RN in the Operating Room, youll encounter a wide variety of cases and cutting-edge surgical practices. This role provides exceptional exposure to specialized procedures, equipping you with both vascular and broader surgical experience. Working within a diverse team means you'll strengthen your collaboration skills and witness different leadership styles, fueling your professional growth.
Schedule:
- Travel assignment
- On-call rotation: 4 calls per 6 weeks (2 weekdays, 2 independent weekend days/nights per 6 weeks)
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Valid RN license and BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience in an acute care hospital
- Essential: Vascular operating room experience
- Preferred: Ortho, Robotics, Plastics specialty OR experience
- Scrub experience a plus, but not required
- Strong communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Circulate and/or assist in diverse surgical procedures, with emphasis on vascular cases
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary surgical teams
- Ensure patient safety, provide perioperative care, and maintain sterile environments
- Participate in required on-call shifts and respond adeptly to emergent situations
