Qualifications:
- Current and unencumbered RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an operating room setting
- BLS required; ACLS and additional OR specialty certifications preferred
- Strong critical thinking, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly within a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment
Responsibilities:
- Provide perioperative care including patient assessment, surgical preparation, circulating, and scrub roles as needed
- Maintain a sterile environment and apply best practices for infection control
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs for optimal patient outcomes
- Document procedures in alignment with hospital and legal standards
- Respond to emergency situations and provide post-anesthesia recovery support as required
