Schedule/Hours:
- Travel assignment; schedule as assigned per facility need
Essential Qualifications:
- Active, unencumbered RN license
- Minimum of one year recent experience as an OR nurse
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong knowledge of intraoperative procedures, instrumentation, and sterile technique
- Excellent communication and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide safe, effective perioperative nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures
- Assist surgeons and anesthesia providers during operations
- Maintain strict adherence to infection prevention and surgical safety protocols
- Monitor patient status and rapidly respond to acute changes
- Accurately document procedures and patient information
