Schedule/Hours:

Key Qualifications:

• Current, active RN license in the state of Georgia (or compact state license)
• Proven experience as an Operating Room RN, with strong familiarity in general surgery and OR circulator duties
• Thorough understanding of the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and adherence to ANA Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics
• Exceptional ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of caregivers
• Clear oral/written communication skills and the ability to deliver patient-centered care

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform circulating nurse duties for general surgery procedures, ensuring safe, individualized patient care throughout perioperative phases
• Serve as a clinical advocate for patients, families, and significant others, upholding their voice and preferences in the care plan
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technologists, and support staff within a framework that emphasizes evidence-based practices
• Consistently follow organizational policies, procedures, and service excellence goals within the perioperative setting
• Maintain compliance with all standards of nursing practice, ethics, and policy regulations
• Actively engage in shared governance activities and participate in ongoing professional development
