This travel assignment in the Main Operating Room presents an environment teeming with professional enrichment. Join a robust, collaborative OR team that spans 23 operating rooms and works with the latest in surgical technology and Meditech EMR. You'll encounter procedures from general, ortho/spine, and cardiovascular to robotics, plastics, and GYN, granting you exposure to a wide mix of advanced surgeries and best practices. The 1:1 patient ratio ensures you can provide focused, high-quality care while growing your skills alongside experienced, team-oriented clinicians.
Schedule:
- 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM shifts
Key Qualifications:
- Active RN license with minimum 1 year of recent experience in hospital acute care OR
- Valid BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a flexible, team-based culture
- Ortho/spine or CV experience highly preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Circulate and/or scrub in a dynamic surgical environment
- Collaborate closely with charge RNs, CNAs, and surgeons to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Uphold and advocate for patient safety and infection control at every turn
- Adapt swiftly to new technologies and procedure updates in a high-performing team
