Qualifications:
- Active RN license, eligible to practice in GA
- At least 1 year of recent Operating Room nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities
- Experience assisting in a variety of surgical specialties preferred
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect patient care in the Operating Room
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Perform preoperative and postoperative assessments, monitoring patients throughout all phases of surgery
- Maintain a sterile environment and follow all safety protocols
- Respond to emergency situations as needed with confidence and efficiency
- Document patient information and intraoperative activities accurately
