This assignment opens doors to sharpen your clinical expertise in a high-acuity, Level 1 trauma center while adapting to varied leadership styles and expanding your nursing toolkit. Schedule/Hours:
- 6:45 am 5:15 pm
- Call responsibilities required
- Includes weekends and holidays
- No block scheduling
Desired Qualifications:
- Active RN license with Operating Room specialization
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Recent Level 1 trauma center experience essential
- High rating on recent skills checklist
- Burn unit experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to thrive under pressure and adapt quickly
Key Responsibilities:
- Circulate and/or scrub in diverse surgical procedures in a high-acuity OR setting
- Collaborate efficiently with surgeons, anesthesia, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain the highest safety and infection control standards
- Deliver exceptional patient care in emergency and routine surgical cases
- Participate in rapid response and trauma activations as needed
- Accurately document intraoperative care and outcomes
