Schedule/Hours:
- Full-time, contract position
- Shifts align with the needs of a dynamic perioperative environment
Qualifications:
- Current and active RN license in the state of Georgia
- Previous experience in an Operating Room setting
- Comprehensive understanding of perioperative nursing standards and best practices
- Strong collaborative skills for working with both licensed and unlicensed team members
- Commitment to upholding the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and the Code of Ethics set forth by the American Nurses Association
- Ability to advocate for patients and act as a liaison between patients, families, and the entire care team
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional, evidence-based care to surgical patients throughout the perioperative continuum
- Maintain the highest standards of safety and quality in alignment with rigorous nursing frameworks and shared governance models
- Work closely with Nurse Managers and clinical leadership to ensure professional growth and support unit goals for service excellence
- Support patients and families through education, informed consent, and clear communication
- Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and service excellence initiatives
- Demonstrate adaptability while handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced operating room setting
