Schedule/Hours:

• Full-time, contract position

Qualifications:

• Current and active RN license in the state of Georgia
• Previous experience in an Operating Room setting
• Comprehensive understanding of perioperative nursing standards and best practices
• Strong collaborative skills for working with both licensed and unlicensed team members
• Commitment to upholding the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and the Code of Ethics set forth by the American Nurses Association
• Ability to advocate for patients and act as a liaison between patients, families, and the entire care team

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional, evidence-based care to surgical patients throughout the perioperative continuum
• Maintain the highest standards of safety and quality in alignment with rigorous nursing frameworks and shared governance models
• Work closely with Nurse Managers and clinical leadership to ensure professional growth and support unit goals for service excellence
• Support patients and families through education, informed consent, and clear communication
• Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and service excellence initiatives
• Demonstrate adaptability while handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced operating room setting
