Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Active and unencumbered RN license, meeting all Georgia state requirements
• At least one year of recent clinical experience in an operating room (perioperative) setting
• Expertise in aseptic technique, patient safety, and perioperative best practices
• Current BLS certification (additional relevant certifications, such as CNOR, are a plus)
• Demonstrated understanding of ANA Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics standards
• Collaborative mindset, strong communication skills, and a commitment to patient advocacy
• Ability to uphold clinical and professional standards in alignment with established policies and procedures

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality surgical nursing care as an active interdisciplinary team member
• Prepare, assess, and monitor patients in pre-op, intra-op, and post-op phases
• Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and support staff to promote patient safety
• Document and maintain accurate, timely nursing records
• Implement evidence-based practices, contributing to a culture of safety and continuous improvement
