Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Active and unencumbered RN license, meeting all Georgia state requirements
- At least one year of recent clinical experience in an operating room (perioperative) setting
- Expertise in aseptic technique, patient safety, and perioperative best practices
- Current BLS certification (additional relevant certifications, such as CNOR, are a plus)
- Demonstrated understanding of ANA Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics standards
- Collaborative mindset, strong communication skills, and a commitment to patient advocacy
- Ability to uphold clinical and professional standards in alignment with established policies and procedures
Schedule:
- Contract assignment, specific shift details provided during the interview process
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality surgical nursing care as an active interdisciplinary team member
- Prepare, assess, and monitor patients in pre-op, intra-op, and post-op phases
- Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and support staff to promote patient safety
- Document and maintain accurate, timely nursing records
- Implement evidence-based practices, contributing to a culture of safety and continuous improvement
- Uphold patient-centered care, supporting individual needs and shared service excellence goals
