Deliver exceptional patient care as a vital part of an interdisciplinary surgical team in a dynamic, patient-focused operating room environment. This contract opportunity is ideal for a Registered Nurse with strong experience in OR settings, particularly in general surgery, and a passion for providing individualized, high-quality care. As an OR Circulator, you will collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthetists, and fellow caregivers, ensuring safe and effective surgical experiences.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Current, active RN license in good standing, as required by the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act
- Minimum of one year of recent operating room nursing experience, preferably in general surgery
- Thorough understanding of the RN scope of practice, ANA Code of Ethics, and evidence-based clinical standards
- BLS certification (required)
- Excellent assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-acuity environments
Essential Responsibilities:
- Function as an OR Circulator, advocating for patient safety and facilitating all aspects of care before, during, and immediately after surgical procedures
- Collaborate with physicians, surgical techs, and support personnel to deliver seamless, coordinated care
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care in alignment with established protocols, policies, and best practices
- Serve as a proactive patient and family advocate, upholding system policies and service excellence standards
- Support the organizations commitment to continuous quality improvement and shared governance initiatives
