Qualifications & Experience:

• Current, active RN license in good standing, as required by the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act
• Minimum of one year of recent operating room nursing experience, preferably in general surgery
• Thorough understanding of the RN scope of practice, ANA Code of Ethics, and evidence-based clinical standards
• BLS certification (required)
• Excellent assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-acuity environments

Essential Responsibilities:

• Function as an OR Circulator, advocating for patient safety and facilitating all aspects of care before, during, and immediately after surgical procedures
• Collaborate with physicians, surgical techs, and support personnel to deliver seamless, coordinated care
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care in alignment with established protocols, policies, and best practices
• Serve as a proactive patient and family advocate, upholding system policies and service excellence standards
• Support the organizations commitment to continuous quality improvement and shared governance initiatives
