As an Operating Room RN, youll be a pivotal part of patient care before, during, and after surgical interventions. Schedule/Hours:
- Participation in 24-hour call coverage required.
Your Qualifications:
- Active RN license in Washington State or Multistate Compact
- Current American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification (required at hire)
- ACLS and PALS certifications (required)
- Previous Operating Room and Recovery Room experience strongly preferred
What Youll Do:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care in the operating room as circulating or scrub nurse
- Complete thorough nursing assessments, including identification of post-anesthesia and post-operative complications
- Collaborate closely with physicians and multi-disciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Provide physical and emotional support to patients and their families
- Supervise and guide assigned healthcare team members
- Help maintain a safe, organized work environment per nurse practice and regulatory standards
