Take the next step in your nursing career as a Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room. This contract position offers you the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art main operating suite, equipped with the latest technology and staffed by an experienced surgical team with deep expertise in a variety of advanced procedures.

Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
• Included night and weekend call

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• Demonstrated transplant skill set (required)
• At least 3 years of relevant operating room experience (preferred)
• Relevant specialty certifications (preferred)

Unit Information and Environment:

• Main Operating Room with 16 surgical suites
• Electronic Medical Record system: Meditech
• Procedures performed regularly include total joints, spine, kidney and liver transplants, robotics, vascular, ENT, and plastics
• Team-oriented atmosphere with a supportive staff and ongoing professional development
• Access to new surgical equipment and technology

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide expert RN-level care throughout the surgical continuum
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Prepare operating rooms and assist with complex surgical procedures, emphasizing transplant cases
• Maintain strict adherence to unit and hospital guidelines, prioritizing safety and patient confidentiality
• Respond promptly to call duties as scheduled, supporting the surgical team as needed

$1,936 - $2,048/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
