Schedule/Hours:
- Travel position with flexible assignment duration
- Rotating shifts may be required
Required Qualifications:
- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum 2 years recent Operating Room (OR) experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications (additional certifications a plus)
- Strong critical thinking and teamwork abilities
- Comfort with a wide range of surgical procedures
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver skilled nursing care in a busy OR, ensuring patient safety and sterile environment before, during, and after surgical procedures
- Scrub and circulate as needed, adhering strictly to evidence-based guidelines
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary team members
- Document patient progress and surgical details accurately
- Communicate effectively with patients and families to provide education and support
