Job Description
A registered nurse with specialized skills in operating room procedures is needed to support a progressive surgical team at a reputable hospital in Glenview, IL. This 12-week contract assignment offers a full-time schedule with the opportunity to work on advanced surgical cases including cataract, retina, and Da Vinci robotic procedures.

Position Details:
- Contract length: 12 weeks, through the end of May
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM (40 hours per week)
- Weekend: On-call rotation
- Required experience: Minimum of 2 years as an RN with operating room expertise
- Must have completed at least one prior travel nursing assignment
- Skills: Proficient in circulating for cataract, retina, and Da Vinci robotic surgeries
- Licenses/Certifications: Illinois RN License, BLS certification
Responsibilities:
- Execute circulating nurse duties during complex surgical procedures with high attention to safety and standards
- Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary surgical teams to ensure efficient workflow and patient care
- Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols in a high-acuity OR setting
- Respond effectively to on-call situations, providing support during weekend rotations as required
Required Credentials Before Start:
- Recent CBC, Drug Screen, and QuantiFERON Gold test within the last 90 days
- Submission of all credentials by Thursday prior to orientation
- Orientation available on any weekday before assignment start
