Preferred Qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Georgia
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• At least one year of experience in an operating room setting
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification highly desirable
• Comprehensive knowledge of perioperative nursing procedures
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills
• Ability to effectively function within an interdisciplinary team

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized, evidence-based nursing care in the operating room environment
• Advocate for patient and family needs while upholding service excellence and system policies
• Implement, document, and evaluate nursing care aligned with facility protocols and regulatory guidelines
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to optimize patient outcomes
• Champion patient safety and infection control practices at every phase of the surgical process
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, ongoing education, and professional development activities
