An exciting opportunity awaits an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse dedicated to advancing surgical patient care. As a critical part of an interdisciplinary team, youll provide individualized, high-quality, and safe perioperative nursing. Schedule/Hours:
- Contract position; specific shift details to be provided during the interview process.
Key Qualifications:
- Current and valid RN license in the State of Georgia, in good standing
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience in an Operating Room setting
- Comprehensive understanding of perioperative nursing, including pre-op, intra-op, and post-op responsibilities
- BLS certification required; additional certifications such as CNOR preferred
- Commitment to upholding the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and ANA Code of Ethics
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate confidently within interdisciplinary clinical teams
Principal Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient-centered care to surgical patients and their families throughout the perioperative process
- Communicate proactively with the surgical team, anesthesia providers, and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain patient safety by following evidence-based practices and the highest standards of infection control
- Document all nursing interventions and assessments accurately
- Advocate for patients rights and participate in shared governance and ongoing unit improvement initiatives
- Uphold organizational policies, procedures, and service excellence standards at all times
