Key Qualifications:

  • Active, unencumbered RN license
  • Minimum one year of recent experience working as an RN in the Operating Room
  • Proficiency in circulating and/or scrubbing procedures
  • BLS/CPR certification (current and valid)
  • Strong communication and critical-thinking skills
  • Demonstrated adaptability in fast-paced, high-acuity environments

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and assist in surgical procedures, ensuring a safe and sterile environment at all times
  • Support surgeons and the surgical team, anticipating needs during operations
  • Monitor patients pre-, intra-, and post-operatively, responding promptly to any changes in condition
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation per policy
  • Promote a positive, collaborative atmosphere within the surgical team
  • Adhere to infection control protocols for patient and staff safety
