Key Qualifications:
- Active, unencumbered RN license
- Minimum one year of recent experience working as an RN in the Operating Room
- Proficiency in circulating and/or scrubbing procedures
- BLS/CPR certification (current and valid)
- Strong communication and critical-thinking skills
- Demonstrated adaptability in fast-paced, high-acuity environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assist in surgical procedures, ensuring a safe and sterile environment at all times
- Support surgeons and the surgical team, anticipating needs during operations
- Monitor patients pre-, intra-, and post-operatively, responding promptly to any changes in condition
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation per policy
- Promote a positive, collaborative atmosphere within the surgical team
- Adhere to infection control protocols for patient and staff safety
