A registered nurse with experience in women's health is needed for a contract opportunity in Wausau, WI. This role focuses on providing high-quality care in an OB/GYN medical group setting, supporting a busy residency clinic with a census averaging 70-100 patients daily. Ideal candidates will have at least one year of experience in women's health, especially in postpartum, labor and delivery, or women's health clinic environments. Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with current BLS certification
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience in womens health, postpartum, or labor and delivery preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Team-oriented with a willingness to learn new skills
• Experience with medication administration, taking vital signs, triage, and managing messages/refills
• Familiarity with Epic electronic medical records system highly preferred

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to women with a variety of diagnoses including pregnancy, menopause, and common gynecological procedures such as IUD insertions and biopsies
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team comprising physicians, medical assistants, and support staff
• Assist with medical device management and use of NST testing machines
• Maintain organized workflow in a busy clinic environment
• Adhere to clinic policies, ensuring patient care standards are met

Schedule and Work Environment:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
• No weekend, on-call, or holiday shifts (clinic closed on major holidays)
• Supportive departmental structure includes MA, social worker, supervisor, manager, and clinic director
• Technology utilized includes Epic EMR, Pyxis medication dispensing, Microsoft Teams and Outlook
