A rewarding opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse specializing in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) nursing. This contract position is set in a well-established healthcare environment located in Woodstock, GA. The schedule is a 12-hour night shift from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM, with some variation in hours, over a 13-week period.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license with a minimum of 2 years of NICU nursing experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
- Preferred experience in IV starts
Responsibilities:
- Deliver family-centered care tailored to the unique needs of neonatal patients
- Monitor, assess, and document the condition of critically ill neonates
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement nursing care plans
- Support families through the challenges of neonatal intensive care with empathy and professionalism
- Maintain compliance with hospital and regulatory standards to ensure high-quality patient care
