Key Qualifications:

• Current, unencumbered RN license
• Recent NICU nursing experience
• In-depth understanding of neonatal standards of care and the nursing process
• Proficiency in exercising independent judgment and critical thinking
• Demonstrated supervisory experience overseeing multiple levels of nursing staff
• Ability to coordinate care in partnership with an interdisciplinary team

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to neonatal patients or assigned groups in alignment with established protocols and best practices
• Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff, ensuring adherence to departmental standards and patient safety
• Coordinate care delivery with other clinical disciplines to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Utilize clinical knowledge and professional judgment to address complex patient situations and adapt to changing needs
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation on patient care and interventions
• Participate in education, orientation, and training for Float Pool assignments, clocking hours as appropriate per unit requirements
