Job Description

Support neonatal patients and their families by delivering advanced nursing care in a dedicated NICU environment. This position offers the opportunity to provide critical support for newborns with diverse medical needs while working alongside a skilled healthcare team.

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Proven experience in a Level II or III NICU setting
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required
• Strong clinical assessment, prioritization, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
• Compassion and sensitivity caring for infants and their families

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized nursing care to critically ill and premature newborns
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage medical equipment specific to the NICU
• Collaborate with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and other support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Educate and support families, providing updates and guidance about their newborns condition and plan of care
• Document patient observations, nursing interventions, and outcomes accurately and efficiently
• Adhere to hospital protocols and NICU best practices to maintain safety and high-quality care
