Deliver specialized care to critically ill newborns in a high-acuity neonatal intensive care environment. Your expertise as a Registered Nurse will make a significant difference for vulnerable infants and their families, ensuring optimal patient outcomes through teamwork, compassion, and clinical excellence.

Schedule/Hours:

• Contract position (specific shift details provided during interview)

Qualifications:

• Active, unencumbered RN license
• Minimum one year of recent experience in a Level III or IV NICU
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication abilities
• Ability to manage comfort and care for high-risk neonates, including respiratory, nutritional, and developmental needs
• Familiarity with family-centered care and effective patient education

Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care for infants requiring intensive support
• Monitor and document vital signs, interventions, and patient status
• Administer medications, IVs, and specialized treatments (ventilators, CPAP, phototherapy, etc.)
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary neonatal teams, including physicians, respiratory therapists, and social workers
• Educate and support families, guiding them through complex care processes and transitions
• Uphold infection control and safety standards in all interactions
