This travel assignment places you in a high-acuity Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, giving you exceptional exposure to cutting-edge equipment, such as Servo U & Drager VN500 ventilators, F&P Bubble CPAP, HFOV, HFJV, Vaportherm, and heliox therapy. As a NICU RN, youll work in a collaborative environment alongside a skilled interdisciplinary team, drawing from a wealth of experience and benefitting from innovative care practices and established protocols. This is a chance to broaden your experience with new workplace approaches, strengthen your clinical skills, and expand your resume.
Schedule/Hours:
- 12-hour shifts, 7PM start
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active RN license
- Minimum 1 year of recent Neonatal ICU or PICU Critical Care experience
- Proficient in managing ventilated pediatric patients and setting up advanced respiratory therapies (BiPAP, CPAP, heliox, Bubble CPAP, nitric oxide, high-frequency ventilation)
- PALS certification required
- Experience with Epic documentation preferred
- Comfortable working in hunter green uniform
Key Responsibilities:
- Admit, monitor, and manage NICU patients requiring advanced ventilatory support
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality neonatal care
- Ensure accurate documentation using Epic
- Uphold patient safety and satisfaction
