Provide specialized nursing care in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) setting, supporting critically ill newborns and their families with comprehensive and compassionate attention. Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of NICU Registered Nurse experience
- Active WA Nursing License or ability to obtain a temporary license (temporary licenses usually process in about 4 weeks)
- Current BLS, ACLS, STABLE, and NRP certifications
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills specific to neonatal care
- Commitment to hospital surgical hand scrub protocols: natural, well-manicured nails (no artificial nails or enhancements) and no jewelry on hands/forearms
Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient-centered care to neonates in a fast-paced NICU environment
- Monitor infant vital signs, respond to emergencies, and manage life-supporting equipment
- Communicate effectively with physicians, respiratory therapists, and families to coordinate care plans
- Adhere strictly to infection control policies including surgical hand scrub guidelines to ensure a sterile environment

This is a travel contract position offering flexibility and professional growth in a supportive setting. Eligibility for a temporary WA nursing license is required for candidates pending full state licensure.
